This property is located between three villages, each of which are about five minutes drive away, where there are useful local facilities including bars, restaurants, bakers and general stores. A wider range of facilities are available in the nearest town, which is about a 10 to 15 miles drive away. In addition, there is a local, National Park with a manned made sandy beach with 100 acre lake used for fishing, swimming and hiking around whether are also restaurants and other water activities, particularly during the summer.
Le Mans itself and is about 25 minutes away and is particularly well known for its 24 hour motor race which is held in June each year. The old town itself is very attractive with lots of 15th century half timbered houses, as well as being overlooked by the Cathedral of St Julien. For golf enthusiasts, there is a 27 hole golf course at Sablé-Solesmes as well as a nine hole training course. This is about 40 minutes awayand there is another course at Le Mans which is about 25 minutes away. There is loads to see in the area at Laval, Saint Suzanne and Saulges which are all within easy reach.

Equestrian Facilities in the area
There is excellent outriding with the Petit Charnie a forest being a few metres away with an extensive range of beautiful tracks as well as quiet lanes. There are several good farriers in the area, a vet about 15 minutes away as well as a good horse feed supplier. There are a huge number of pony club and equestrian centres in the area and Boulerie Jump at Le Mans hosts many competitions and events throughout the year.
